ATTENTION!!!
PFLAG participation in Fair Parade. For Details See Calendar on this page!

Yes it's true! Walla Walla, Washington has a chapter of PFLAG! We are proudly working towards the acceptance and tolerance of our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered children here in Eastern Washington. The fight for freedom and civil rights isn't always easy but we're here to show that our children deserve the respect and acceptance of all people.
One day, society will accept all its members as equals, regardless of their sexual orientation or their sexual identity. Until that day, there is PFLAG.
PFLAG's Mission:
SUPPORT: To cope with an adverse society.
EDUCATION: To enlighten an uninformed public.
ADVOCACY: To end discrimination.
PFLAG provides opportunities for dialogue about sexual orientation, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful to human diversity.
We meet monthly for a program designed to educate us regarding sexual orientation and provide a time for sharing. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing. You needn't say anything at all if that is your desire.
Confidentiality is a top priority. Nothing said during sharing-support time will leave our meeting room, nor will people be pressed to share more information than they are comfortable with sharing during or after the meeting.
If you'd like to join us:
When: The 2nd Monday of each month
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Where: First Congregational Church, Fellowship Hall, 73 S. Palouse

"And I remind myself all the time now if I had been born mute
or had maintained an oath of silence my whole life long for
fear of safety I would still have suffered and still have died."
